Briefing on Offences (Aggravation by Prejudice) (Scotland) Bill
This is the Equality Network's briefing on the Offences (Aggravation by Prejudice) (Scotland) Bill (hate crime bill) in the Scottish Parliament.

On May 19th 2008, Patrick Harvie MSP introduced the Offences (Aggravation by Prejudice) (Scotland) Bill in the Scottish Parliament. The bill will for the first time recognise homophobic, transphobic and disability-related hate crime in Scotland. It is currently being considered by the Justice and Equal Opportunities Committees of the Parliament, who have issued a call for evidence on the bill.
