Have your say on the draft Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill.

The proposals for reform of the Gender Recognition Act affect trans people and LGBTI communities across Scotland, it is important that your views are heard.

Equality Network and Scottish Trans Alliance are holding four special LGBTI consultation events to support you to have your say to the government, and to hear your views to inform our own work.

We’ll discuss the consultation, including:

• Application periods for Gender Recognition Certificates
• The period of reflection
• Extending Gender Recognition to young people
• The inclusion of non-binary people
• Any other questions you might have

The event will last around 2 hours and refreshments will be available. We ask participants to register in advance for this event, so we can ensure we meet access requirements, and have enough refreshments.

Travel expenses can be paid where the cost of travel is a barrier to participation.

All events are open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people and their family/friends.
