This Thursday (27 June) at 8.30am sharp the Equality Network will hold a special celebration event on the grass area outside the Scottish Parliament! (Note: we were originally going to include a balloon release, but having considered feedback on the environmental impact, we’re not going to release balloons).

The event is designed as a photo opportunity for the media to mark the week that the Scottish Government are set to introduce the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill and to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Equal Marriage campaign.

We know 8.30am is early, but on the plus side it means you can pop along and still make it into work in time.

By coming along you will probably also feature in this week’s print and broadcast coverage of the equal marriage bill too!

So join us on Thursday morning to celebrate FIVE years of the campaign and to do your bit to help Scotland’s equal marriage bill get launched with a bang!
