The Equality Network annual reception for 2013 will take place on Tuesday 5 November, 6pm – 8pm, in the Scottish Parliament’s Garden Lobby (registration from 5.30pm).
Join us to celebrate 16 years of working for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality, and to mark the final stage of our push for equal marriage in Scotland.
This year’s reception takes place at an important time for LGBT equality, with just a few weeks to go before the Scottish Parliament votes on the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill.
The reception is being sponsored by: Marco Biagi MSP (SNP), Margaret McCulloch MSP (Scottish Labour), Jackson Carlaw MSP (Scottish Conservatives), Willie Rennie MSP (Scottish Lib Dems) and Patrick Harvie MSP (Scottish Greens).
It should be an enjoyable evening, with wine and refreshments, entertainment from the Loud and Proud Choir, and speakers including Alex Neil, the Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary with responsibility for Scotland’s equal marriage legislation.
So please come along and show your support for LGBT equality!
