Hate crime events in your area

Lets Talk About Hate Crime

The Equality Network is holding a series of Let’s Talk About Hate Crime special discussion events in ten rural and island communities in Scotland during March.

LGBTI hate crime affects us all, from online threats to graffiti, verbal abuse to physical attack. We know through our research that too many of us don’t report hate crime. It’s time to talk about why.

We’ll be discussing what makes a hate crime, how you can report it and what support is available. You don’t have to have been a victim of hate crime to attend, as everyone’s views are welcome and important. The events are a good opportunity to meet LGBTI people at events in your area and discuss other LGBTI issues you’d like to raise.

The events are FREE. Each will last around two hours and refreshments will be available.Click here for the full details.
