Equality Network provides high quality training to employers and service providers on LGBT+ equality, rights and inclusion good practice.
We have over a decade of experience in providing high-quality LGBT+ awareness training for the public, voluntary and private sectors. Our expertise is built on the lived experience of LGBT+ people in Scotland as well as years of close work with policy makers, services, other organisations and research findings.
We offer LGBT+ awareness training, transgender awareness training, and intersectional/EDI training (for example on the overlapping needs of people who might be LGBT+ and disabled). Our most popular training sessions are three- and two-hours long, but where time is an issue, we also offer one-hour lunch ‘n’ learn type sessions.
We will gladly work with you to tailor the content to your specific context and find the perfect training solution to fit your needs and budget.
Please complete the training enquiry form below and our Training Coordinator will respond to you by email.
“The trainer was brilliant. All of it was great. Good mix of presentation, discussion and videos. Loved the ice breaker question.”
“I have attended training before that focussed on the facts, e.g. the right words or terminology to use. The difference with this training was that it described the feelings and wants of those from the LGBT+ community.”
“Very informative, great teaching session. Great speaker.”
“One of the best courses I have attended in a long time thanks to an engaging warm presenter who delivered clear knowledgeable information in such a positive way. Excellent training and trainer.”
