We are hiring a Strategic Campaigns & Partnership Coordinator!

We are seeking a new Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns Coordinator to work on LGBTQIA+ equality and human rights in Scotland with a specific focus on trans equality. This is a new role specifically created within the current challenging context of the rise in anti-gender movements, anti-trans rhetoric and a roll back on equality and human rights for trans people with implications for the wider LGBTQIA+ community and all women.

This role is primarily strategic and will look to address the shifting narratives and public perception of LGBTQIA+ people and our equality and human rights via public campaigning, and to build on existing (and create new) partnerships for working towards progressive change.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about LGBTQIA+ equality and human rights and have significant and demonstrable experience working in social justice / equality and human rights movements. They will have worked in creating intersectional and cross-issue partnerships and in coalition building, in social justice movements, as well as have considerable experience in strategic campaign work. They will also be an excellent communicator, have media engagement experience, and have an understanding of equality and human rights policy and legislation.
