We are very happy and proud that the Equal Marriage campaign won the Campaign of the Year award at the SCVO Charity Awards 2013 event in Glasgow last night. Many congratulations and thanks to all the thousands of people who have been part of the campaign so far.

We and our partners have been campaigning for equal marriage in Scotland since 2008.  One of our partners in this work, Scottish Youth Parliament, won the award last year for their Love Equally campaign.

The Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill is due to be introduced in the Scottish Parliament within two weeks, and the next stage of the campaign will be to work for the best possible bill to be passed by the Scottish Parliament as soon as practicable!
