In 2024 Equality Network surveyed over 300 disabled and neurodivergent LGBTI+ people.

We asked about how involved they felt in both LGBTI+ specific spaces and disability specific spaces.
We also asked people about how included they feel in each community and what people wanted from LGBTI+ and disability communities, groups and organisations to improve inclusion.

The answers to this survey are invaluable in explaining how people with the protected characteristics of being LGBTI+ and disabled and neurodivergent can be marginalised or excluded from spaces that are meant to be for them.

We think it is important to share this information in people’s own words.

This zine is the first in a series exploring the results of this survey.
